Mobile Phone Return Instructions

If you have recently requested and/or received a new phone, please prepare your old phone for return to the New York office for accountability purposes.

Attn: IT Department

275 7th Ave Fl 16, New York, NY 10001

Once your new phone is in hand, please initiate data transfer and activation.

If you require activation assistance, please reach out to IT before proceeding.

Note: Please ensure that the new phone is fully activated before shipping.

Preparing your old phone for return:

Transfer any necessary data from your old device to new device over wifi connection or using a cable.

Most devices have apps available for easy transfer of data between the old and new device, such as:

Apple https://support.apple.com/en-us/102659

Samsung https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10001345/

1) Remove all passcodes/biometrics/other security from device.

2) Remove any expandable storage cards (SD card, etc.) and remove/transfer all personal files from the device as they will not be recoverable from the device.  Recommendation is to save them to a cloud app or perform a backup.

3) Return the device to factory settings:

iPhone https://support.apple.com/en-us/108931

Samsung/Android https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10002030/

4) Provide your Ship From address to IT and a return label will be provided for your convenience.

5) Power off the device completely and package all contents for the old device (original box if you still have it, charging accessories, and phone) and affix the shipping label to the box.

6) Drop off the package at your nearest UPS shipping facility (UPS Store, post office, office supplies store, etc.).
