Scanning Documents
Step 1: Choose the folder or create a new folder for the scanned documents to be saved in. Then press the plus sign in the bottom right corner.

Step 2: Choose "Camera Media" then select "Scan". Users may need to slide their finger to the left to arrive on "Scan", but they may also be able to tap on the word to select it.

Step 3: Hold the camera over the document to be scanned. A blue box appears on the document. This indicated the area that will be scanned. Adjust the height of the camera to ensure the entire document is being scanned. Press the white circle in the center at the bottom of the screen to capture the image.

Step 4: Inspect the image and decide to keep or retake if necessary.

Step 5: Once all pages of the document have been scanned, press the "Save" button in the bottom right corner. *Please note: if the user presses "Cancel" in the upper right corner, the images will be deleted.

Step 6: Wait for the new document to be generated. The document is being converted to a PDF and syncing with the Box servers, so this may take a few moments. Once generated, the document will appear in the list. Users are able to continue working within Box, including scanning a new document, while the uploading is completed.

Step 7: Rename the document by clicking on the document, then on the three dots in the upper right corner.
