TABLE OF CONTENTS

To Add Classifications for a Specific Employer

1. Select Employers on the left navigation panel in Se Puede. Select Find Employer, type the employer’s name in the first field Employer starts with and select Find. Click on the Employer’s Name, which is a blue hyperlink, and the company information page will appear.

2. Next select the Depts & Classifications tab. Select Add on the right side of the Classification header (see image below).

3. Add Classification - Enter the EmployerClassification Description (e.g., Barback or Hostess- see image below). Next select the appropriate LocalClassification. If the classification determines a different rate, select the Rate Classification. The Tipped value will default to the local classification’s value. If the Tipped value is incorrect, correct the value for tipped. Select Save & Close

Please note the format of the local’s existing classifications and make sure what you are adding stays uniform with the classifications already existing. One misspelling or added word will add a whole new classification, when one may already exist. {Best Practice: Search for the classification before adding a new one.}

4. Edit Classification Description – Click the edit pencil to modify the existing classification description (see image below).

To Add Classifications at the Local Level

1. Select Local Information on the left navigation panel in Se Puede.

2. Select Employment Setup from the menu.

3. Click on Add on the right of the Local Classification header.

4. Add Local Classification - Enter the Local Classification Description e.g., Barback or Hostess (see image below). If the position is a Tipped position, check the Tipped box, then select Save & Close

Please note- the format of the local’s existing classifications and ensure what you are adding stays uniform with the existing classifications. One misspelling or added word will allow a whole new classification to be added, when one may already exist. {Best Practice: Search for the classification before adding a new one.}

5. Edit Classification Description – Click the edit pencil to modify the existing classification description (see image below).
