How-To: Set up Okta SSO for SePuede

This video guide will walk users through the process of setting up an Okta SSO account. Setting Up Okta SSO for Se Puede

Step 1: User receives an email from Okta containing a green "Activate" button. Click the button to begin the setup process.

Step 2: Choose a password for the account and click the "Setup" button under the Password subheading to enter this password.

Step 3: Click "next" after entering the password twice to complete the password setup.

Step 4: Next, click "Setup" under the Security Questions subheading. Choose a question from the drop-down menu or create a memorable question to use. These answers will help users reset their passwords if needed in the future.

Step 5: Once the answers to the questions have been entered, click "Verify". 

Step 6: Now setup the multi-factor authentication by choosing the "Phone" option. (*Note: this is the recommended multi-factor authentication choice.)

    *If you do not have access to a phone for verification, please contact your lead. 

Step 7: Users will enter their phone number and Okta will send a unique verification code via SMS. 

Step 8: Enter the verification code that was received via SMS and click "Verify". 

Step 9: Click "Finish" and the account will now be logged into Okta.
